DISILLUSIONMENT is driving men away from mainstream politics, a report has revealed.
Four in ten believe politicians are more focused on women’s issues than the problems blokes might face.

Their frustration comes from a belief that no matter how hard you work, improving living standards is unattainable, pollsters from More in Common found.
While alienated males are often portrayed as younger, in reality the 45 to 60-year-olds are struggling the most.
Just one in eight of those in that older age bracket think MPs care about them.
In an election tomorrow, Nigel Farage’s Reform UK would take 53 per cent of votes from disillusioned men.

Ahead of International Men’s Day tomorrow, Labour MP Ali Strathern said: “This report should be a wake-up call to all mainstream politicians.
“To take tackling men’s disillusionment seriously, we must listen to them.”
Luke Tryl, executive director of More in Common UK, said: “The men most disillusioned with politics want action on bread and butter concerns like the cost of living.
“But there’s a deeper lesson here about rebuilding trust.
“These men feel politicians don’t respect them or understand their lives.”
