Several Premier League clubs lining up to sign 21-year-old Real Madrid forward

Gonzalo Garcia was Real Madrid’s revelation last summer at the FIFA Club World Cup. His strong performances convinced manager Xabi Alonso to keep him in the first team, and both the club and the player rejected offers for a move.

However, since the start of the 2025/26 season, Garcia has found minutes hard to come by and has hardly had any prominence in the team.

Premier League clubs eye Gonzalo Garcia

Given the situation, Mundo Deportivo reports that a plethora of clubs from the Premier League club are interested in signing Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid in January.

The 21-year-old La Fabrica graduate has played in nine matches in all competitions this season, but has accrued a total of 108 minutes only. He has yet to score a single goal, but has a solitary assist to his name.

Given his lack of prominence at the Santiago Bernabeu, clubs from England are lining up to sign him.

Teams like Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, Leeds United, Sunderland and Wolves are interested in securing the services of the Real Madrid youth academy product.

Meanwhile, from Spain, Real Betis also remain interested in the 21-year-old.

Despite the interest in him, Alonso and Real Madrid are unlikely to part ways with Gonzalo midway through the season.

After all, Endrick is also set to leave the Santiago Bernabeu, with an agreement to join Olympique Lyon on loan almost secured.

Gonzalo, who signed a long-term contract until 2030 with Real Madrid in August, will hope that his minutes improve in the coming months. But, for now, despite his bleak situation, a January departure seems unlikely.
