DUBAI DIP: Swim and resort label Melissa Odabash is making inroads in the Middle East, opening her second Dubai boutique, at Atlantis The Palm hotel. The 484-square-foot space features a selection of swim, resort and evening wear.

Odabash, who is marking 25 years in business, said that having two boutiques in the key luxury destination “allows us to connect more closely with our regional customers, showcase a wider range of collections tailored to their lifestyle, and further strengthen our brand footprint in this vital market.”

She said physical stores allow her to deliver an “immersive brand experience,” and the latest Dubai opening paves the way for “continued growth and future expansion across the region.”

The brand is based in London, where it has two boutiques, in Chelsea and Notting Hill. It also has stores in resort towns in France, Greece, Italy and the Dominican Republic.

The new Dubai store stocks vintage-inspired silhouettes, bikinis, one-pieces, maxidresses, caftans and woven cover-ups.

The pieces are made from Italian fabric and finished with embroidery and subtle metallic details. Colors include soft neutrals and deep ocean blues as well as the brand’s signature prints, including leopard, vintage florals and zigzags.

The brand marked the Atlantis opening with a dinner where guests included Hanan Mazouzi Sobati, founder of the Arabian Gazelles, an all-female supercar club in the Middle East, and Rosemin Madhavji, entrepreneur and founder of the luxury consultancy RR&Co.
