DONALD Trump may offer asylum to British citizens prosecuted for voicing opinions on immigration, gender, and abortion clinics.

The White House is considering political asylum for “thought criminals”, and those arrested for peaceful protests outside of abortion clinics.

Trump’s involvement in UK political asylum stems from increasing concern for the protection of free speech.

There are some people inside the administration that are actively scouting for cases, a source with inside knowledge told The Sunday Telegraph.

The discussion, influenced by Elon Musk’s involvement in attacking the Government and British police over “thought crimes”, is far from new.

The White House has previously offered political asylum cases for white South Africans who claim they face racial discrimination in their own country.

Top contenders for US refuge include 62-year-old Livia Tossici-Bolt, who was prosecuted holding a sign reading “Here to talk if you want” outside of a Bournemouth abortion clinic.

Also on Trump’s top list is 51-year-old physiotherapist, Adam Smith Connor, who was prosecuted by the courts after praying outside an abortion centre in 2022.

Trump yesterday warned Britain “you won’t have a country left” unless illegal migrants are deported now.

The US President advised posting the military on the coast during his wide-ranging rant about the current state of the UK.

Mr Trump said the country has “an advantage” because the sea acts as a “protector”, adding: “Sometimes they come in by boat, but it’s a protection.”

The businessman-turned-politician said his former administration was “very tough at the border” and “would take people immediately back” as the US was flooded with “millions” of illegal arrivals.

He suggested that Britain “could do the same thing”, before going on to say: “If you don’t get them out, you’re not going to have a country left.”
