Giants Software has announced that Farming Simulator 25 has surpassed 4 million copies sold globally and reminded fans that a bunch of new content is coming to the game in its second year.
Regarding the sales milestone, Giants Software executive Boris Stefan said, “It’s amazing.”
“It’s not the sales number itself, but the enormous engagement and the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received from our community following the conclusion of Year 1,” he added.
Farming Simulator 25 launched in November 2024 and is now entering its second year, with a Year 2 Season Pass ($35) coming to the game. This will include multiple new DLC packs and a “major” expansion. New DLC packs are coming in the first and second quarters of 2026, with the expansion set to arrive in Q4 2026.
People who buy the new Year 2 Season Pass can get all the upcoming content, along with the new JCB WFT playable in the game right now.
In addition to the paid content coming to Farming Simulator 25 in the Year 2 Season Pass, Giants Software said fans can look forward to free content set for release in 2026 as well.
For anyone just getting started with Farming Simulator 2025, the game is purchasable with just the base game or with the Highlands Fishing Edition. Farming Simulator 2025 is also available on Xbox Game Pass.
