HT: West Ham 2-2 Bournemouth

Bowen strikes twice from close range in the space of two minutes to completely wipe out Bournemouth’s lead. The whole landscape of this game has shifted and now its the Hammers who look most likely. The Cherries will head in at the break wondering where it all went wrong after such a lively start.

GOAL!

GOAL! West Ham 1-2 Bournemouth | Bowen 38′

35 mins: West Ham struggling to string much together in Bournemouth’s half as Sebastien Haller is awarded a free-kick for a high boot. A chance to lump it into the box?

30 mins: As opening half-hours go, this one has been pretty dismal for West Ham. Lanzini plays a low ball across midfield and immediately turns to the bench, signalling for a change. He seems to have tweaked something, holding his thigh.

27 mins: Noble floats in a very dangerous free-kick but there is no one in claret who looks willing to attack it.

25 mins: Johnson pays for his disappointing showing. Moyes has seen enough and hauls him off inside half an hour. Fredericks the man on in his place.

23 mins: West Ham finally trying to put some heat on their Championship visitors. They win a corner but the delivery is too high for Antonio in the middle. They’ve yet to properly test Archer in the Bournemouth goal.

Bournemouth double their lead and it’s Solanke who this time sorts out his feet from eight yards to convert a low cross from the left. West Ham look vulnerable down Ben Johnson’s side so far.

GOAL!

GOAL! West Ham 0-2 Bournemouth | Solanke 16′

I said he looked a threat. Danjuma this time skips past two claret shorts in the middle before cutting in from the left and firing low past Martin. The Cherries have started far brighter here.

GOAL!

GOAL!West Ham 0-1 Bournemouth | Danjuma 4′

3 mins: Bournemouth should be in front. Arnaut Danjuma gets away down the left, draws the keeper and pulls it across to Dominic Solanke. Solanke can’t sort his feet in time to send it goalwards but it’s a bright start from the visitors, with Danjuma twice causing trouble down the left.

We must have a winner!

This one will go to a penalty shootout if the scores are level at full-time. The Hammers have gone perfect so far in pre-season, beating Wycombe, Ipswich and Brentford.

That sets them up to win the Betway Cup if they continue that record with victory over Bournemouth on Saturday.
