Arsenal must put their Europa League frustrations to one side as they return to Premier League action against rock-bottom Sheffield United tonight.

The Gunners conceded an injury-time goal against Slavia Prague at the Emirates on Thursday night to draw the first leg of their quarter-final 1-1, leaving Mikel Arteta’s men with work to do in the return leg.

Given Arsenal currently sit in the bottom half of the table heading into this game, the prospects of European qualification appear to hinge on winning the Europa League this season – but Arteta will not want his squad to give up the ghost domestically just yet.

A trip to Bramall Lane presents the perfect opportunity to get back to winning ways given the Blades have won just four games all season and are all but certain to be relegated, but this dramatic season has shown that there is usually a surprise in store if teams don’t turn up with the right mentality.

Simon Collings at Bramall Lane

Another lovely goal from Arsenal. This time it is Partey coming to the party by finding Lacazette. I’ll stop now.

Off goes Lacazette after a brilliant performance – on comes Eddie Nketiah.

GOAL! Sheffield United 0-3 Arsenal | Lacazette, 85 mins

Another class finish from the striker, who draws the ball across Ramsdale with a whipped finish after a lovely turn and pass from Partey in midfield.

Arsenal will hope that it is nothing serious for Saka. They cannot face having him out of Thursday’s trip to Prague.

Martinelli’s job is done – off he goes for Elneny.

That goal is no more than Martinelli deserves. He’s been excellent tonight, buzzing around the Sheffield United defence like a wasp at a picnic.

GOAL! Sheffield United 0-2 Arsenal | Martinelli, 71 mins

Martinelli looked to be going off a couple of minutes ago, but has a goal instead.

The Blades try to play out from the back, Pepe steals the ball, sees his shot saved by Ramsdale, and Martinelli taps home the rebound from close range.

Saka off injured

Well, it’s not what Arsenal fans wanted – Saka limps off and is replaced by Willian.

He’s got a bag of ice tied around his thigh.

67 mins: Another injury problem for Arsenal as Saka goes down clutching his thigh.

That is bad news for the Gunners – he’s arguably the one player they won’t want to lose.

66 mins: Martinelli is back up and gives chase here, but he grimaces a little – he doesn’t look quite right, and will likely be subbed off as a precaution at the very least.
