There’s no let-off in the Premier League right now, with ten more matches this weekend as gameweek 20 arrives.

Mikel Arteta was denied his first win as Arsenal manager as Chelsea launched a late comeback to stun the Gunners.

Having beaten Manchester City 3-2 on Friday night, Wolves must now travel to face runaway leaders Liverpool on Sunday afternoon with fewer than 48 hours between each match… that’s festive football! City, meanwhile, face Sheffield United in the 6pm GMT kick-off.

Saturday’s action began with Brighton’s 2-0 win over Bournemouth, while there were three 3pm kick-offs. Newcastle lost 2-1 at Everton, Southampton drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace while Watford’s winning run continued with a comfortable victory over Aston Villa.

Tottenham settled for a point against bottom side Norwich with a win at Burnley allowing Manchester to nip in and take fifth place – now just a point behind Chelsea.

A defeat at home to Leicester City cost Manuel Pellegrini his job, with West Ham confirming the Chilean’s departure hours after the final whistle.
