More consolidation is underway at regional publisher Modern Luxury, which is shutting down the print editions of two more magazines.

Michael Clements is out as editor-in-chief of Capitol File — as the magazine, which it picked up with its acquisition of Jason Binn’s Niche Media more than a decade ago — is converted to a Web site. Sister title DC Magazine is losing Editor-in-Chief Kristen Hodsdon, and she is being replaced by returning vet Michael McCarthy.

Los Angeles Confidential Editor-in-Chief Spencer Beck is also out as that title folds, leaving sister title Angeleno as the survivor in Modern Luxury’s LA portfolio.

On the expansion side, the company unveiled lifestyle website on Oct. 1, and made Mike Pallad editor.
