Inter Milan travel to Germany knowing that another victory against Dortmund would give them the upper hand in the battle for Champions League qualification from Group F.

With Barcelona top of the group, Antonio Conte‘s side are fighting it out with the Bundesliga runners-up as they fight for second place.

The Italian outfit will have the psychological upper hand after easing to a 2-0 win at the San Siro last time out, with the Nerrazzurri also performing well in the Serie A this season.

Dortmund have not scored in any of their last three home matches in Europe but they did beat Atletico Madrid 4-0 last season, showing what they can do when they need a result.

With two of Europe’s heavyweights going head-to-head, it promises to be a fascinating encounter on Tuesday night.

Prediction: Dortmund 1-1 Inter

Conte’s side certainly have the better formbook going into this clash, having only lost to Barcelona and Juventus this season, and Romelu Lukaku is in fine form with nine goals in his 10 games.

Inter will no doubt look to frustrate the German side, knowing that a favourable head-to-head record could see them qualify ahead of Dortmund, and that could result in a cagey affair in Germany.
