Wonderful save denied Aina’s deflected effort right on half time. Earlier he had to be sharp to push away Lookman’s low drive.
Looks better in the centre of a three, but more than capable of playing on the right, too. Composed throughout.
Spared Gilmour in the first half when the midfielder lost possession to set up a Fulham attack. Stretched at times, but generally in control.
In the right place at the right time on a number of occasions. Like Abraham, he has been a victim of Tuchel’s reign after such an impressive start to the season.
Got a rollicking from Tuchel in the first half when failing to cut out a dangerous Fulham attack. Not his most offensive performance, but still got into threatening areas.
Full of energy and eager to impress. Very positive frequently showed for the ball. Touch let him down on a couple of occasions and Silva saved his blushes in the first half.
Wonderful touch and pass set up Havertz for Chelsea’s opener. Work-rate was immense playing in a deeper role. Chelsea will hope the knock he took to the back is not serious.
Looks to have established himself as Tuchel’s preferred choice at left wingback. Another high-energy performance – proving a dangerous outlet on the wing.
Regularly dropped deep to try to get hold of the ball and influence play. To his credit he worked tirelessly to the ugly things in midfield. Should have scored with only Areola to beat in the first half.
A consummate No9 performance from a false nine. Both of his goals were down to his outstanding movement and the quality of his finishing. Are we now seeing what he will bring to Chelsea’s attack next season?
It feels like hard work for him, but he continues to be a nuisance to defenders with his constant running and chasing. His cross for Ziyech in the first half was an example of his unselfishness.
N’Golo Kante (Ziyech, 66’) 5
Brought on to give Chelsea greater control in midfield and see the game out.
Tammy Abraham (Mount, 76’) 4
A rare chance for some action for the forward – but he saw little of the ball.
Marcos Alonso (Chilwell, 81)
Unused: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Anjorin, Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic
