A murder probe has been launched after a male was stabbed to death in north London.

Police and paramedics were called to reports of a knife attack in the Munster Square estate in Camden on Monday night.

The victim, whose age was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 11.10pm.

No arrests have been made.

Scotland Yard confirmed a murder investigation had been launched.

“A murder investigation is underway following a stabbing in Camden,” it said in statement:

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the male – no further details – was pronounced dead at the scene.”

“Enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.”

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to call police on 101 quoting the reference CAD8433/12Aug.
