Bryan Goldberg’s buying binge continues at his Bustle Digital Group.

On Tuesday, Bustle bought 4-year-old tech/science website Inverse from founder David Nemetz.

Goldberg, who earlier in his career sold sports blog site the Bleacher Report to Turner Sports for $200 million, has made a habit of picking up one-time digital darlings that fell on hard times, including Gawker, Nylon, The Outline and Mic.

Terms of the Inverse buy were not disclosed, but Nemetz will be staying on as executive VP, working with The Outline, another tech/culture site, and its founder Joshua Topolsky.

BDG’s efforts to reboot its floundering properties are dragging in some quarters, however.

Over at snarky website Gawker, for example, Editor-in-Chief Dan Peres has been plagued by key staff defections. It will relaunch this fall.
