Blasphemous 2’s Very Cool PS5 Collector’s Edition Is Only $65 Right Now

Earlier this month, Amazon offered a fairly solid deal on the recently released Blasphemous 2 Limited Collector’s Edition for PS5, but now Amazon’s discount shop Woot has a much better offer. You can get this very cool edition of the fantastic metroidvania for only $65, down from $100. This deal is only available for the PS5 version of the game–the Limited Collector’s Edition was also produced for Nintendo Switch–which Amazon had for $85 in mid-October. As of now, Amazon’s price is $93 for PS5 and $95 for Nintendo Switch, but the latter wasn’t discounted at all before.

Blasphemous 2’s Limited Collector’s Edition honestly felt like a bargain at full price, as it comes with more stuff than some collector’s editions that cost twice as much. This deal is set to expire on Halloween, which is rather fitting for a macabre metroidvania like Blasphemous 2.

Here’s everything you get with Blasphemous 2’s Limited Collector’s Edition:

  • Collector’s Edition box
  • Steelbook
  • Collector’s CD cover
  • Digital soundtrack
  • Instruction manual
  • Two CDs with music by Carlos Viola
  • Game Guide with 60+ pages
  • Marca Del Martirio metal coin
  • Art cards set with 3 new illustrations
  • Certificate of Authenticity
  • Album of illustrations with more than 60 pages
Blasphemous 2 Limited Collector’s Edition

Originally released last August, Blasphemous 2’s well-realized gothic world, haunting enemies, and methodical combat make it a great choice for fans of Castlevania and Dark Souls. The first game in the series was good, but the sequel is much better (and bigger). It’s worth noting there’s a standard physical edition available for $30 for Switch and $25 for Xbox Series X. The PS5 standard edition is sold out, but the $65 Limited Collector’s Edition more than makes up for that.

Our Blasphemous 2 review awarded it a 9/10, praising its improvements over the original along with its brooding art style.

“Blasphemous 2 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, mixing its unique and harrowing aesthetic with a gameplay amalgam of Metroidvanias and Souls-likes,” wrote critic Richard Wakeling. “Where the first game faltered, however, its sequel makes significant improvements, resulting in a thrilling adventure that doesn’t run out of steam.”

Woot has a bunch of other great game deals right now, including steep discounts on Nintendo Switch exclusives.
